MyHud - How to Log in

To access MyHud, you will need your username, password, and MFA code.

The password used to log into MyHud has recently changed, and the password you use will depend on when you applied to the University.

Applications submitted:

On or before 8 April 2025

You will log into MyHud as detailed on the e-mail you were sent confirming receipt of your application.

Your password is your Date of Birth in the format ddmmmyy all in small case.

For example:       22jun95

On or after 9 April 2025

Your password is your Date of Birth in the format dd/mm/yyyy followed by /MyHud.

For example:       07/04/2000/MyHud        

You will be asked to change your password the first time you log into MyHud.  Please see guidance on creating your new password at .

Username for All Applicants

This is your university email address format based on your student number which you have been provided with in the emails you have received regarding your admission, and any official admissions documentation.  

The username is ‘U’ followed by your student number followed by @unimail.hud.ac.uk. 

For example, U1234567@unimail.hud.ac.uk

Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for All Applicants               

The MFA is an extra layer of security. 

When you log into the portal for the first time, you will be asked to register a phone number, this will then be used to check your identity when you log into MyHud.

If you are still experiencing problems, then please contact international.office@hud.ac.uk and ensure you provide your student number within the email.

Note for all enquiries – please do not send multiple enquiries to different departments as it is increasing the volume of queries the University is receiving and adding to the delay in replying.

Where is my offer?

As we are receiving a significantly higher volume of applications than normal, we are processing these as quickly as we can and we apologise for any delay.

In order to assist us with your application, please ensure that you have uploaded all the relevant documents and provided as much information as possible. It is important that you declare any immigration history as this can cause delays if you do not.

Please remember that if your application is successful, your offer will be available on your portal.

I have met all conditions of my offer, why is my portal not updated?

Admissions staff are busy updating offer letters to show that the conditions have now been met so please be patient as conditions do not update automatically. Please check your offer letter directly to see when your conditions have been met.

I am applying for a nursing course and have not received my interview and/or feedback?

We have unprecedented volume of applications and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible to either arrange an interview or to provide you with the outcome of your interview.

I’ve paid my deposit but not had confirmation?

Due to the volume of applications, we are processing deposit payments as quickly as possible but there may be a delay in replying to you. Any payments made will be reflected in your pre-CAS/CAS. 

Where is my pre-CAS/CAS?

If you have received your offer and met all the conditions, you will hear from us with a pre-CAS shortly.
