The Progression Module is a structured off-the-shelf HE and employment preparation programme for sixth form and college students.
Year 12 students or those in Year 1 of a two-year Level 3 programme.
The year-long programme is taught in school/college by tutors, supported by ºÚÁÏÉç staff. Training, teaching resources, complementary workshops and ongoing support is provided to enhance the experience.
Unit 1: You and Your Career
Work experience preparation, career planning, CVs and letters of application
Unit 2: Managing Your Money
HE and employment finance budget planning
Unit 3: Exploring Your Future
HE and employment decision making exercises
Unit 4: Marketing Yourself
Mock interviews, presentation skills and writing personal statements
12 UCAS points for those who complete the module*
*Formal recognition for students’ work in the form of 12 UCAS points accepted and transferable across courses at the ºÚÁÏÉç, Leeds Beckett University and Leeds Trinity University. Some course exclusions apply. For further details please contact us.
